Dear Church Family,
I want to share with you a tentative schedule for spring and summer activities. I wanted to give you plenty of time to mark your calendars as summer will be here in just a couple of months. Items with an * are subject to change. If there are any changes I will let you know.
CHILDREN'S MINISTRY SCHEDULE:
March 5th - 6th - 5th and 6th grade Lock-in
April 3rd - Easter Egg Hunt (new property)
April 28th- AWANA Commencement
May 12th -GRIP (family worship in the fellowship hall)
May 26th - GRIP (family worship in the fellowship hall)
June 3rd and 4th - Baseball Camp*
June 9th - GRIP (family worship in the fellowship hall)
June 11th - Kids Day Out (Grant's Farm)
June 20th - 26th - Family Mission Trip
June 28th - Kids Day Out (City Museum)
June 30th - GRIP (family worship in the fellowship hall)
July 5th - 9th - Children's Camp (completed 3rd - 6th grade)
July 14th - GRIP (family worship in the fellowship hall)
July 16th - Kids Day Out (location TBD)*
July 18th - 22nd- Vacation Bible School
August 5th - 6th - Soccer Camp*
August 11th - AWANA Registration Night
August 18th - AWANA Begins again
I am excited to see the children grow in their relationship with the Lord. I pray that the opportunities over the summer will be a time for them to grow. I also pray that the children will bring friends to these activities who can also hear about Jesus and His love for everyone. Please be praying for the children and how you can help serve them and encourage them to spiritually.
It is my prayer that we be teaching our children to worship the Lord. Below I have listed a verse that we can use as a prayer. I pray that each of us would use these as a prayer to show our true love for the Lord. "I will praise you, O Lord my God, with all my heart, I will glorify your name forever." Psalm 86:12
